Peer Reviewed Policies

Lapin Press Publications (LPP) adheres to the COPE Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers, ICMJE Recommendations, and the recommendations on Publication Ethics Policies for Medical Journals, as well as the standards set by the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association. Peer review is a critical component for maintaining quality in any academic journal. In this process, experts in relevant fields evaluate scholarly work from multiple perspectives, including writing quality, technical accuracy, documentation, and the impact on and implications for the discipline.

Reviewers play a crucial role in scholarly publishing, and their valuable insights ensure the quality of the articles under consideration. Peer review helps validate research, establishing a standard for evaluation within research communities. The standard review process typically takes a minimum of 7-8 weeks, depending on the availability of reviewers.

LPP employs the peer review process to uphold academic standards and ensure the validity of the works submitted for publication. LPP follows a single-blind peer review process to ensure independent editorial decision-making. Based on reviewers' feedback and recommendations, manuscripts may be returned to authors for revision. Once the revised manuscript is submitted, it is reassigned to the reviewers for approval of the changes. However, the final decision to publish is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
