Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the varicose vein treatment options available today. Numerous techniques exist for managing varicose veins. Treatment for varicose veins yields varying results. Compared to endovenous laser ablation and surgical stripping, foam sclerotherapy and radiofrequency ablation were linked to reduced discomfort and quicker recovery times. When compared to patients undergoing conventional high ligation and stripping, patients receiving endovenous laser ablation and radiofrequency ablation are likely to heal more quickly and return to work sooner. It is necessary to conduct a randomised controlled trial across several sites to determine which method is most effective for treating varicose veins.
